The Committee on Legislative Support of Law Enforcement recommends that the Verkhovna Rada should adopt in the second reading and in entirety the bill to amend the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements to strengthen responsibility for violations in the sphere of urban development

The bill (Reg. No. 10139) amends the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements as to the authorities of the State Architectural and Construction Inspectorate of Ukraine and its territorial bodies to consider the cases on administrative infringements. The bill also "stipulates that penalties established by clause 96 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements in part of use of construction facilities without an operating permit are applicable to the individuals using the completed construction facilities without an operating permit since the day this law comes into force."

The committee members support this bill, as it strengthens responsibility for violations in the sphere of urban development.
